Experience an upland day hunt for quail & pheasant located north of Houston near Huntsville, TX. Whether you prefer a professionally guided hunt with trained pointing and flush dogs, or a self-guided hunt to work your own bird dog, the Feathered Forest Preserve offers a quality upland hunt in your choice of a wooded area or open pasture. From October through March, the Feathered Forest Hunt Club is the place to be for quail and pheasant hunting. Whether you’re chasing birds across an open field or through the woods, our expert upland guides and well-trained pointing and flush dogs make every hunt fun - and successful. We offer accessible & quality upland hunting for residents of the Greater Houston and surrounding areas.

A membership is ideal for those who plan to host clients or hunt multiple times during the upland season. Members enjoy a lower cost per bird, making frequent visits more cost-effective, along with the added benefit of no additional fees for observers & a discounted guide fee. Whether you're building traditions or strengthening business relationships, a membership offers both value and flexibility in a convenient & accessible day hunting experience.
